Dr. Shrem is a licensed clinical psychologist with broad experience in clinical psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic assessment with adults and children. He has served on the faculties of the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons (adult psychiatry), Albert Einstein College of Medicine (pediatrics), and is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. In 2025 he was awarded 'Teacher of the Year' for his work in the child psychiatry fellowship program at Mt. Sinai.  He is also a member of the adult faculty at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training & Research (IPTAR). Dr. Shrem maintains offices on the upper west side of Manhattan* and at the Hudson Valley Center for Development.
